A student at Shippensburg Area High School was found by an assistant principal to be in possession of a glass pipe contain a burnt substance. The student has been charged.
On this date the Dollar General store in Shippensburg called and said there was a bike sitting in front of the store since October 23, 2015. The bike is a gray Mongoose 21 speed mountain bike with a gray and white seat. Anyone with information is asked to contact Shippensburg Police Department.

CPD UNITS WERE CALLED TO THE WALMART, 60 NOBLE BLVD FOR A RETAIL THEFT. JASON MELLOTT WAS APPREHENDED BY WALMART AUTHORITIES AFTER A THEFT AND ATTEMPTED FRAUDULENT RETURN. MELLOTT WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY AND CHARGED WITH M3 RETAIL THEFT.

CPD UNITS RECEIVED A REPORT OF A PFA VIOLATION IN THE 300 BLK OF W RIDGE ST. WITH THE ASSISTANCE OF LOWER PAXTON TOWNSHIP POLICE, GARY L STRAW, JR. WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY FOR THE VIOLATION. HE WAS TAKEN TO CUMBERLAND COUNTY PRISON FOR ARRAIGNMENT.
