The East Earl Township Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred in the parking lot of a business in the 100 block or Toddy Drive.  The robbery occurred on May 27, 2016 at 6:10 PM.  The actor is a B/M, mid-30s, 6’01”, medium build, 2” beard, “half-sleeve” tattoo on left arm, wearing a blue t-shirt and jeans. 

Case Status:

On 5/28/16 at 0955 hrs, Ephrata Police investigated a vehicle accident in the 800 Block of E. Main St. in Ephrata Township. A vehicle driven by a 16 year old female from Ephrata, was west bound on E. Main St. and failed to stop for a red traffic signal and struck another vehicle entering E. Main St.  No one was injured in the accident. One vehicle was towed from the scene.  

Incident Type:

The LBPD has filed a criminal complaint against Dennis Eugene DICK, 55, Lititz for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and related traffic offenses.  DICK crashed his car into the rear of a vehicle driven by Ethan Howard MARX, 19, Ephrata on Friday, May 27, 2016 at 2:33 PM in the 100 Block of Owl Hill Road.  DICK was transported to Lancaster General Hospital for injuries he sustained in the crash.

The Missing Person Toska Mclaughlin was located safe and sound in Middlesex Township at approximately 10:15am, Saturday.  Through the diligent work of Carlisle Police Patrol Officers and Detectives, Middlesex Township Police, Cumberland County Communications, and AT&T Wireless; Mclaughlin was located in the 1500 block of the Carlisle Pike.  Mclaughlin was found unharmed and has been reunited with her family.

On Saturday May 28, 2016 around 12:45AM a West Shore Regional Police Officer conducted a traffic stop in Lemoyne Borough.  Through an investigation, officer(s) discovered a passenger 24-year-old Jonathan NMN ASTACIO of the 5300 Block of Oxford Circle, Mechanicsburg to be in possession of suspected Marijuana and drug paraphernalia.  ASTACIO was taken into custody without incident.

ASTACIO was transported to Cumberland County Prison.  Charges will be filed at MDJ Beckley's Office.

Fendlay was charged with Public Drunkenness on 05-28-16 at 0223 hrs when she was observed highly intoxicated, staggering in public in the 1200 block of Scotland Ave. Fendlay was transported to Franklin County Jail to await arraignment.

On 05-24-16 Charles McCarty (48) of Columbia was picked up for a probation violation warrant in the 600 blk. of Franklin St. McCarty was taken to Lancaster County Prison.

On 05-27-16 Elligah Jondell Smith (22) of Columbia was arrested for Criminal Trespass and Criminal Mischief after an incident in the 200 blk. of Walnut St. Smith was arraigned before MDJ Miles Bixler and placed in Lancaster County Prison on a probation detainer.

On 5/28/16 at 0955 hrs, Ephrata Police investigated a vehicle accident in the 800 Block of E. Main St. in Ephrata Township. A vehicle driven by a 16 year old female from Ephrata, was west bound on E. Shippensburg Police received a set of found keys located on the 1st block of East King Street near M & T Bank.  The keys include buildings, padlock, and vehicle keys on a ring.

A single vehicle accident occurred on Memorial Square when a tractor trailer operator failed to successfully navigate the fountain while heading west on Lincoln Way. The trailers rear tire struck a barrier causing it to separate from the rim. This separation caused a loud explosion that was heard from several blocks away. No injuries occurred and the fountain barrier sustained minor damage.

Police took Michael T. MINNICH, 39, Lititz, into custody on 05/22/2016 at 6:16 PM.  Police responded to a disturbance in the 400 Block North Cedar Street involving MINNICH and two other people.  As a result, MINNICH was released and cited with Disorderly Conduct and summoned into District Court.

On 05/23/16 at approximately 1139 pm, Chambersburg Police responded to a two vehicle accident in the 200 block of N Franklin St. Contact was made with Holly Snider and Jesalene Lebash; both were involved in the collision. Lebash informed police that while she was traveling on N Franklin a silver vehicle took a left in front of her. Lebash attempted to decrease her speed, but could not avoid the collision. Both vehicles had disabling damage and were towed from the scene.

On May 27th 2016 at about 8:00pm, Carlisle Police were dispatched to the 800 blk of Forbes Rd for a report of a missing person.  According to the complainant, his wife, Toska McLaughlin, had left the residence at about 5:00pm hrs to go for a walk.  A relative close to McLaughlin recently passed away and McLaughlin was having a difficult time with the death.  McLaughlin called her husband at 5:28pm hours and advised him that she would be home within a half an hour.  That was the last time McLaughlin was heard from.

On 5-27-16 there was a robbery at the First National Bank in the 2000 Block of N. Progress Avenue in Susquehanna Township. At approximately 2:40pm, a male entered the bank wearing a motorcycle helmet, dark pants, dark jacket with a green safety vest over it and gloves. The male demanded money and gave the employees the impression he was armed. After collecting an undisclosed amount, the male fled and was observed getting onto a smaller motorized dirt bike, fleeing west onto Kohn Road. Attached are pictures from the bank surveillance.

On 05/26/16 at about 1546 hours, Harrisburg Police responded to the 600 block of Harris Street for a report of two people shot. Upon arrival two victims were found with gunshot wounds. The male victim had a gunshot wound to his left arm which traveled into his chest cavity.  He was taken to Hershey Hospital and was in surgery when officers arrived.  The female victim received a wound to her right hand. She was transported to Harrisburg Hospital and was expected to recover from her wounds.
