On April 30th 2016 at 1545 hrs, Carlisle Police attempted to stop Dedric Dukes in reference to a domestic incident that occured in State Police jurisdiction.  Dukes failed to initially pull over, passed a vehicle illegally, and eventually pulled over and exited his vehicle in the 1st blk of W Penn St.  Dukes initially complied with commands, but then fled on foot towards the rear of One West Penn with officers giving chase.  Dukes was unable to outrun police and was taken into custody on Fairground Ave in the area of the railroad tracks.

The East Earl Township Police Department holds an active warrant for Heather Galvin for retail theft.  Galvin is alleged to have stolen items from a business in the 1300 block of Main Street.

On Tuesday May 3, 2016 around 2:15PM West Shore Regional Police were dispatched to the 600 Block of Market Street for a domestic.  Officers arrived and learned that 69-year-old Clinton Lee MYERS of the 600 Block of Market Street, Lemoyne had struck the victim in the face and caused damage to the property.  MYERS was taken into custody without incident.

MYERS was arraigned by MDJ Cohick with bail set at $25,000.  MYERS was then transported to Cumberland County Prison and committed on the charge.

Christina Gontar was arrested for DUI and traffic offenses after a traffic stop in the 4400 block of Division Highway.

Police conducted an underage cigarette compliance check with an underage student provided by Council on Chemical Abuse throughout the township.  All stores were found to be in compliance.

Police were dispatched for a vehicle accident on West Wyomissing Blvd and Revere Blvd.  A red Plymouth Sundance, operated by Jeffrey Bashore was rear ended by a white Honda Civic that left the scene.  While police were completing paperwork, the driver, Richard Knoll, returned to the scene with the white Honda Civic.

Police took Avelino JIMENEZ-GONZALEZ, 28, Lancaster, into custody for Public Drunkenness.  On 05/03/2016 at 11:52 PM, police responded to several 911 calls from residents in the 000 Block Pennwick Drive reporting JIMENEZ-GONZALEZ to be intoxicated, loud and pounding on the door of his girlfriend's house who lives in that block.  JIMENEZ-GONZALEZ was cited and subsquently released at his residence.

Owner, John Barnes, of a silver Cadillac CTS, requested police respond to Village Square to investigate damage to his vehicle while in the parking lot.  On location police were given a hand written note containing a PA registration number.  Police contacted the driver of gray Honda, Tuyet Pham-Ngoc, who was not aware they struck a vehicle.  A piece of red plastic reflective material, that was found at the complaints vehicle, was matched to the gray Honda.

Incident Type:

Police were dispatched for a three vehicle accident at the intersection of Revere Blvd and Harvard Blvd. Negative injuries were reported by all parties involved.  A black Ford F-350, driven by James Wahl, struck a red Dodge Ram 1500, operated by Brian Ulrich, which in turn hit a black Hyundai Tucson, operated by Shirley Readinger-Ziegler, that was stopped at the red light.  All vehicles sustained minor damage and were driven from the scene.

On Tuesday May 3, 2016 Officer Bingham responded to Manor Auto, 850 Manor St. for a report of possible vandalim/theft from a coin operated machine on the property. Staff noticed that there appeared to be damage to the machine. The damage was reported to have occurred over the weekend.

On 2/22/16 and 3/8/16, the male suspect pictured in the attached surveillance photo stole Cointreau liquor from the Bridgeport Wine & Spirits store.  The suspect stole multiple bottles of Cointreau liquor on each occasion, and can be seen concealing a liquor bottle under his coat on the surveillance photo.  The suspect is described as a short Hispanic male, 25-35 years of age.   Anyone with information on the identity or whereabouts of the suspect is asked to submit a tip or contact East Lampeter Twp Police Officer Nate Westerman at (717) 291-4676.

On 4/27/16 at 1613 hours, Harrisburg Police responded to a large fight in the area of 14th & Swatara Streets.  When officers arrived they observed a large amount of people in the area but no active fight.

Officers were able to speak to the individuals who stated that a fight broke out at John Harris High School.  This fight then was the catalyst for the fight at 14th & Swatara later in the day.

Case Status:

On 4/30/16 at 1303 hours, Harrisburg Police responded to a robbery on the 1500 block of Derry Street.  Officers met with the victim who stated that she was waiting to meet her parents in the church parking lot when she was robbed at gunpoint.

The woman had parked her van in the  parking lot at the Derry Street United Methodist Church, at 15th and Derry Streets.  She needed to meet her parents to retrieve some paperwork and they chose the church parking lot as the meet-up location.

On 4/29/16 at 2256 hours, Harrisburg Police met with a robbery victim who works Domino's Pizza.  He stated that he made an $80.00 delivery to the 500 block of Curtin Street.  The victim knocked on the door to the address but there was no answer.  The victim then called the phone number that was provided and spoke to someone advising that they were outside.  It was then that the victim was confronted by 4 to 5 black males who attacked him.  After the attack the male fled from the area.  The victim could only describe one of males as 5'7"
