The NLCRPD filed charges of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol (DUI) and Resisting Arrest against ERICA LYNN RITZMAN, age 36, E. Gramby Street, Manheim after NLCRPD responded to a single motorvehicle crash on N. Heck Road, Warwick Township at 0054 hours on 5/15/2016.RITZMAN was placed under arrest for DUI and while being placed in the patrol car RITZMAN became combative and resisted being placed into the rear of the car without the assistance of two additional police officers. 

Duane K Shelton,35, of the 100 block of Locust Street in Lititz, PA was charged with Driving Under the Influence and several traffic violations after an incident that occurred in the 1600 block of North Reading Road in East Cocalico Township on Sunday May 22, 2016 at 0121 hours.  At that time East Cocalico Police officers were notified by a local ambulance crew that there was an erratic driver at the above location.  Upon stopping and speaking with Shelton, officers noticed damage to the front of his vehicle.

The NLCRPD issues an arrest warrant for MICHAEL ALLEN TYSON, age 23, with a last known address of Old River Road, Birdsboro, Pennsylvania. It is alleged that on 6/6/2016, TYSON entered the Target Store located at 960 Lititz Pike, Warwick Township, with four other individuals and took 32 cans of baby formula valued at $458.72. The other individuals have been identified and charged for criminal conspiracy and retail theft. 

Michael L Tucker Sr; 60, of the 300 block of Village Lane Reinholds, PA was charged with 2 counts of Driving Under the Influence and a traffic violation after an incident that occurred on May 20, 2016 at 2300 hours.  While traveling northbound in the 2400 block of North Reading Road in East Cocalico Township, an officer witnessed Tucker's vehicle cross into the opposite lane of travel, nearly striking another vehicle.  Tucker's vehicle was stopped and the officer determined the Tucker was impaired.

Investigators from the NLCRPD filed the listed offenses against KEITH ERIC KENNEY, age 58, of Cottage Avenue, East Petersburg, It is alleged that on 1/16/2016, KENNEY went to a local gun shop and attempted to purchase a firearm and provided incorrect information on the federal form(s) to purchase a firearm. The purchase was denied.

A red mountain bike was found on E Ludwig Ave near S Sixth St. The owner can claim the bike at the Chambersburg Police Station.

The LBPD filed a non-traffic citation against Naishla Y. WISE, 21, Lititz, for Public Drunkenness.  On 06/25/2016 at 12:21AM, police responded to the 100 Block North Broad Street (SR0501) following two 911 callers reporting WISE was running down the middle of the road, yelling and causing traffic to stop.  Police found WISE to be under the combined influence of alcohol and drugs.  WISE has been summoned into District Court.

Incident Type:

The LBPD investigated a crash that occurred on 06/20/2016 at 3:23 PM in the 400 Block North Cedar Street.  A vehicle driven by Ralph A. ROSSI IV, 20, Terre Hill, struck a vehicle driven by Kevin L. HOOVER, 53, Ephrata.  No injuries were reported.  ROSSI's vehicle was towed from the scene.

Incident Type:

The LBPD investigated a crash that occurred in the 100 Block North Locust Street on Monday, June 20, 2016 at 6:20 PM.  A vehicle driven by Lucy K. REED, 18, Lititz, struck a legally parked vehicle.  No injuries were reported, however, both vehicles were towed.

On 06/25/2016 at 0108 hrs Chambersburg Police were dispatched to Sheetz for a report of a Heroin Overdose. Officers arrived to find the patient unresponsive with limited breathing, lying in the parking lot. Naloxone was administered to the patient. The patient eventually regained consciousness and was transported to the Chambersburg Hospital by EMS for further treatment.

On June 26, 2016, the North Coventry Police responded to the Boscovs to take a suspicious circumstance report.  Two employees came out from work and found a dollar bill stuck under their windshield wiper.  The money was left by an unknown person and the complainants found it to be suspicious.  Police are checking surveillance video to see if the event was captured.   Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Ofc. The Carlisle Police are investigating the theft of several decorative solar power landscape lights from a residence on Court Lane.  Some time within the past two weeks, an unknown suspect removed approximately thirteen landcape lights from the front of the property.  Police are asking anyone with information to call in or provide a tip through the Crimewatch website.

On 6/19/16 at 0129 hours, Harrisburg Police responded to the 1200 block of Green Street for a male lying on the sidewalk bleeding.  The male was found and appeared to have head and neck trauma from being struck with an object.  EMS quickly arrived but determined that the male was deceased.  The male was later identified as Steven Esworthy, W/M/32.
